About Taylor's Dogs
Heather Taylor, M-ISAP, ADIP.CBM, CHWI. SAPT
My name is Heather, and I am the owner and founder of Taylor's Dogs. I am a qualified dog behaviourist and am committed to expanding my knowledge so your dog can get the best help.
I am currently a provisional member of the APBC, which means having gained the relevant academic qualifiactions, I am gaining the practical experience necessary for full membership as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist.
I am also under the mentorship of some wonderful CAB's and Vet Behaviourists to ensure you & your dog get exactly what you need.
I have always loved animals, from dogs to snakes - I've owned most of them! so decided to use my passion for my career.
You and your dog deserve to work with someone who is up to scratch, and that's why I'm so passionate about consistently gaining more professional qualifications (as well as the ones I already hold).
We moved to Wiltshire earlier this year when I decided to em'bark' on my career helping people and their dogs.
Alaska is a 3 year old Husky/Malamute Cross. We adopted her from the RSPCA when she was 10 moths old. Her previous owners had left her locked in a crate for 6 weeks and as a result of this she had severe separation anxiety.
I'm pleased to say, she has now overcome this with our help and is a confident, happy and loving dog. She loves a tennis ball and will do anything for a sausage, and is enjoying the sights and sounds of Tidworth. Her nickname is Laska Laska!
Bandit is a 3 year old Husky. We adopted him earlier this year from the RSPCA. His previous owners were unable to look after him anymore, and had been quite heavy handed in their approach.
He is a very anxious boy who lacks confidence, but his personality is shining through and we are working hard to help him overcome his issues. He loves a cuddle and is turning out to be quite a chatty boy! His nicknames are Bandit Boo Boo, and Baby B!
